Doug Harris is at the helm of Spinnaker's Paradise Grill. A Panama City Native, Doug is a self-taught Chef with 14 years experience in the restaurant business.

Outside the kitchen, Doug is an avid "biker" - he's a familiar figure cruising the beach on his Harley. Chef Doug is a graduate of Gulf Coast Community College in Panama City, and he's a four time Olympic medallist…for the "Kitchen" Olympics at O'Charley's Restaurant… Add to that…. he's a golfer…don't all chefs ride bikes and play golf in their spare time?

At any rate, his love for food came from his Grandmother's good ole southern cooking and he learned how to cook at a very young age helping her in the kitchen… it's amazing how many great chefs develop their love of cooking in the heart of a family kitchen!
Doug has a beautiful wife…two dogs and a four-year-old daughter…who's the driving force of his life! And, he's changing history at one of Panama City Beach's most famous landmarks… the Spinnaker!
